We are here to help you on your journey to wellness. Here is some helpful information to get you started.
The Slater Center is conveniently located at 1 Corliss St. in Providence, RI, just off Interstate 95. We are open seven days a week - Monday-Friday: Drive Thru 9am-5:30pm, Dispensary 10:30am-7pm; Saturday: Drive Thru and Dispensary 9:30am-6pm; and Sunday Drive Thru and Dispensary 10am-6pm. We offer free parking in a safe, secure onsite parking lot. Our building is accessible for people of all abilities. We also offer online ordering with convenient pickup in our drive thru or inside the dispensary. (Online ordering is not available for approximately one hour before and after the close of business to allow us to fill that day's orders and prepare the menu for the following day.)
Our goal is to provide each patient with an exceptional level of personalized care in a safe, welcoming environment. We will respond to your unique needs in a kind, compassionate and confidential manner. We will explain your options and work with you to find the best medicine for you based on your healthcare needs, preferences and desired effects.

The Slater Center accepts any patient who has a valid Rhode Island Medical Marijuana Identification (ID) Card or other approved patient documentation from another state. Learn more about obtaining a Rhode Island Medical Marijuana Identification Card on our website.
HOW TO REGISTER AS A PATIENT AT THE SLATER CENTER
Medical cannabis patient registration is quick and easy.
Visit The Slater Center
Stop by our dispensary during regular business hours. We are open seven days a week. We also offer online ordering. You can pick up online orders in our drive thru or in the dispensary.
Show Documentation
Show us your Rhode Island Medical Marijuana ID Card or other state-approved patient documentation from any state, along with an official government-issued photo ID.
Get Approved
Fill out some paperwork to register as a patient at the Slater Center – it only takes a few minutes. You can also download the patient registration form online to complete ahead of time.
Your First Visit
During your first visit to the Slater Center, our friendly and knowledgeable staff members will help you register as a patient so you can purchase your medicine here.
Once you are registered, we will take a few minutes to explain how the center works, the type of medicine available and how we help with your specific needs. We also can answer any general questions you may have.
You will then meet with one of our Patient Advisors, who will recommend medicine tailored to your individual needs, treatment goals and personal preferences.
Our Patient Advisors are extremely knowledgeable about all of our plants and products, as well as treatment options recommended for specific conditions based on scientific and anecdotal evidence. They will work with you to find the best medicine for you, based on your needs, personal preferences and desired effects. They can also explain how long it will take for the medicine to take effect and how long the effects will last.
We also offer one-on-one consultations for more in-depth discussions about your personal needs and the options available to you. Call or stop by to schedule an appointment at a time that’s convenient for you.

We use only the finest cannabis grown here at the Slater Center as well as plants grown by a select group of licensed cultivators here in Rhode Island. Each plant is carefully cultivated and cured without the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals.
Our team of professional cultivators stays on top of industry innovations, using sustainable growing techniques, the latest technology and state-of-the-art processes to produce top-quality plants that produce consistent therapeutic effects.
Each plant is hand-cut and hand-crafted into an assortment of cannabis medicines that undergo intensive inspection and testing to ensure they meet our strict guidelines for quality, safety, purity and potency, as well as all state and local regulations.
